Mobile Tyre Services Across Sittingbourne
Tyre problems can happen without warning. You might notice a tyre-pressure warning light before leaving home, find a nail in the tread at work or suffer a flat tyre while travelling through Sittingbourne.
Our mobile service brings tyre-fitting equipment directly to your vehicle. Depending on the condition of the tyre, we may be able to provide a puncture repair or replace the damaged tyre with a suitable new one.
Our Sittingbourne tyre call-out service can help with:
- Flat and punctured tyres
- Emergency tyre replacement
- Slow air loss
- Nail or screw damage
- Damaged tyre valves
- Worn or unsafe tread
- Sidewall cuts and bulges
- Tyre-pressure problems
- Out-of-hours tyre fitting
- Tyre fitting at home or work
- Tyre-related roadside assistance
Every tyre must be inspected before its repairability can be confirmed. If the damage is unsafe to repair, we will explain why replacement is the appropriate option.
Emergency Mobile Tyre Fitting in Sittingbourne
A damaged tyre can leave you unable to continue your journey safely, particularly when your vehicle does not have a usable spare wheel. Our emergency mobile tyre fitting service is available 24 hours a day across Sittingbourne, subject to fitter and tyre availability.
When you contact us, provide your exact location, vehicle registration and tyre size. We can then check tyre availability, give you a quotation and provide a realistic estimated arrival time based on your location, traffic and current call-out demand.
If you are in an unsafe position, prioritise your personal safety. Switch on your hazard warning lights, move away from passing traffic where possible and contact the appropriate emergency or highway service when necessary. Tyre fitting should only be performed in a safe working location.
Our Mobile Tyre Services
Mobile Tyre Replacement
When a tyre cannot be repaired safely, we can supply and fit a suitable replacement at your location. Before recommending a tyre, we check important specifications such as:
- Tyre width
- Aspect ratio
- Wheel diameter
- Load index
- Speed rating
- Reinforced or XL marking
- Run-flat specification
- Vehicle manufacturer requirements
For example, a tyre marked 205/55 R16 91V has a specific width, profile, wheel diameter, load index and speed rating. The replacement must be compatible with the vehicle and wheel.
Providing your registration number and a clear photograph of the tyre markings helps us identify the correct options before dispatching a fitter.
Mobile Puncture Repair
Not every punctured tyre needs to be replaced. A repair may be possible when the damage is within the permitted repairable tread area and the tyre remains structurally sound.
The fitter must remove and inspect the tyre before confirming whether a permanent puncture repair is appropriate. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, exposed cords, a bulge, previous unsafe repairs or evidence that the tyre has been driven while flat may make replacement necessary.
We will not repair a tyre if its condition makes the repair unsafe.
Roadside Tyre Assistance
If a tyre problem leaves you stranded, we can attend a safe roadside position and assess the tyre. Depending on its condition, we may provide a puncture repair or fit a replacement tyre.
Our service covers tyre-related roadside assistance. It should not be confused with full vehicle recovery or mechanical breakdown assistance.
Tyre Fitting at Home or Work
You do not need to wait until a tyre fails completely. We can also fit replacement tyres at your home or workplace in Sittingbourne.
This option can be useful when:
- Your tyre tread is worn or approaching the legal limit
- A tyre has a slow puncture
- You have noticed sidewall damage
- Your vehicle repeatedly loses tyre pressure
- You need planned replacement tyres
- You cannot conveniently visit a tyre garage
Make sure the vehicle is parked on firm, level ground with enough space for the fitter to work safely.
Can Your Punctured Tyre Be Repaired?
Whether a tyre can be repaired depends on the location, size and type of damage, as well as the overall condition of the tyre.
A repair may be possible when:
- The puncture is within the repairable central tread area
- The damage falls within the applicable repair limits
- The internal structure remains intact
- The tyre has sufficient legal tread
- The tyre has not been driven while severely underinflated
- There is no sidewall, shoulder or bead damage
Replacement will normally be required when:
- The sidewall is punctured, cut or split
- A bulge or blister is visible
- Internal cords are exposed or damaged
- The shoulder of the tyre is damaged
- The tread is below the legal minimum
- The tyre has serious cracking or deterioration
- Previous damage or repairs make another repair unsafe
- Driving while flat has damaged the internal structure
A visual inspection from outside is not always sufficient. The tyre may need to be removed from the wheel so its internal condition can be assessed properly.
What Is Included in Mobile Tyre Fitting?
Depending on the job and the equipment required, a mobile tyre fitting appointment may include:
- Inspection of the tyre and wheel
- Confirmation of the tyre specification
- Safe lifting of the vehicle
- Removal of the wheel
- Removal of the damaged tyre
- Inspection of the wheel rim
- Fitting of a suitable replacement tyre
- Inspection or replacement of the tyre valve
- Wheel balancing
- Inflation to the appropriate pressure
- TPMS consideration where applicable
- Correct wheel refitting
- Final tyre and safety checks
- Responsible removal of the old tyre
Wheel alignment is different from wheel balancing and may require specialist workshop equipment. If severe or uneven tyre wear suggests an alignment or suspension issue, the fitter may recommend an additional inspection by an appropriate garage.
How Our Mobile Tyre Fitting Service Works
1. Check the tyre information
Look for the tyre size printed on the sidewall. It will appear in a format similar to 205/55 R16 91V. If it is safe to do so, send us a clear photograph.
2. Send your location and vehicle details
Provide your:
- Sittingbourne postcode or shared location
- Vehicle registration number
- Tyre size
- Vehicle make and model
- Number of tyres required
- Description or photograph of the damage
- Preferred budget or tyre brand
Tell us whether the vehicle has locking wheel nuts and confirm that the locking wheel nut key is available.
3. Receive tyre options and a quotation
We will check availability and explain the suitable budget, mid-range or premium tyre options. The quotation should be agreed before dispatch.
4. Receive an estimated arrival time
Your estimated arrival time depends on fitter availability, tyre stock, traffic, weather and your exact location. Because these conditions can change, arrival times should be treated as estimates rather than guarantees.
5. The fitter inspects the tyre
On arrival, the fitter will assess the tyre, puncture location, tread, sidewall, valve and visible wheel condition. This inspection determines whether a repair may be suitable or replacement is required.
6. The tyre is repaired or replaced
Where safe and appropriate, the tyre will be repaired. Otherwise, the damaged tyre will be removed and a suitable replacement fitted.
7. Final checks are completed
The tyre pressure, valve, wheel fitment and other relevant safety points are checked before the vehicle is returned to you.
Tyres for Different Vehicles
Our mobile tyre service primarily supports common passenger and light commercial vehicles, subject to tyre size, weight and equipment requirements.
Vehicle types may include:
- Cars
- Hatchbacks and saloons
- SUVs and 4x4s
- Small vans
- Light commercial vehicles
- Taxis and private-hire vehicles
- Company and fleet vehicles
- Hybrid vehicles
- Electric vehicles
Specialist tyres, large commercial vehicles, caravans, trailers and unusual wheel sizes must be confirmed when booking. Never assume that a fitter can safely support a particular vehicle until its details have been checked.
Budget, Mid-Range and Premium Tyres
We can check available new tyres across different price ranges, helping you select an option that matches your vehicle, driving requirements and budget.
Options may include:
- Budget tyres for cost-conscious motorists
- Mid-range tyres offering a balance of performance and price
- Premium tyres from established manufacturers
- Summer tyres
- All-season tyres
- Run-flat tyres
- Reinforced or XL tyres
- EV-compatible tyres
Brands may include Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Pirelli, Hankook and Yokohama, subject to tyre size and current stock.
The cheapest available tyre is not automatically the right option. Its dimensions, load index, speed rating and other specifications must be appropriate for the vehicle.

Charanjit came out within 1 hour and changed 4 tyres at my site: great price and great service. 100% recommendPosted on Google A B007Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would not use Kent Mobile Tyre Services again. Our experience was extremely disappointing, not simply because they were delayed, but because of the poor communication and the way we were treated. My 91-year-old mother contacted them after suffering an emergency tyre failure. A flint had torn the tyre, and because her car does not carry a spare wheel, she was unable to continue her journey. She was initially told they would be with her within 90 minutes. Shortly afterwards, she received a text message confirming the price and the estimated 90-minute arrival time. However, that was the only communication she received. There were no updates to explain the delays, and the text came from a telephone number that did not accept incoming calls, so she couldn’t even reply to it for an update. We completely understand that the 90-minute arrival time was only an estimate and that delays can happen. What was unacceptable was that they failed to keep her informed. Every time we telephoned for an update, the estimated arrival time was pushed back again. At no point did they proactively contact her or give a realistic indication of when they would actually arrive. This left a 91-year-old lady stranded in extremely hot weather with no certainty about when help would arrive. Had we been given an honest timescale from the outset, we could have arranged alternative assistance much sooner instead of waiting on repeated assurances that they were nearly there. Eventually, after I had reached my mother, I called again and was told they were “another 15 minutes away”. By this point, after hours of changing estimates, we had lost confidence that this would be accurate, so I explained that we no longer required their services and would make alternative arrangements. I also explained my mother’s age and the circumstances she had been left in. Rather than showing any understanding, the person I spoke to became rude and said, “It’s because of people like you I think we shouldn’t take on jobs.” I found that response completely unacceptable. Delays are sometimes unavoidable, but clear communication, honest expectations and basic courtesy are not. Mobile tyre services charge a premium because people rely on them in emergencies, and customers are entitled to expect reliable communication and professional customer service. We have absolutely no objection to paying a premium for a good service. Unfortunately, this experience fell a very long way short of that. Based on our experience, I would recommend using a company that is open, honest and respectful when things don’t go to plan. If Kent Mobile Tyre Services had simply kept us updated and been honest about the likely delay, this review would probably never have been necessary.Posted on Google Annmarie DartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
